Hal Blaine

I just heard the very sad news that session drummer Hal Blaine has passed. Some were very fortunate to celebrate his 90th birthday with him just recently at The Baked Potato in Los Angeles, where he performed publicly for the last time. Arguably the greatest studio session drummer ever.

Rest In Peace Mr. Hal Blaine. So many songs from my childhood featured this brilliant drummer.

Rest in peace to the 49 people senselessly murdered in Christchurch, New Zealand.

If a person has to resort to randomly killing people to advance his alleged "philosophy" (and broadcasting the whole thing live on the Internet to boot), his philosophy simply sucks by definition, full stop.

I agree 100% and felt that way during the 9/11 WTC attacks too and many more. One thing all these types of people share is that they are all cowards.

Oh no...she just had a birthday. Sob. Adored her and her fight for animals. In an age when actresses are barely glorified porn stars, Doris Day is a reminder of a time when you could be sexy and chaste and classy at the same time. R.I.P. Doris Day. A true talent.
