Rest In Peace Peter Tork, you and the other Monkees brought a lot of enjoyment in my youth.

Great music.

+1 Antenna tv I believe is having a Monkees marathon in honor of his passing this afternoon.

Damn. This one hurts.

Talk Talk pulled off one of the most remarkable 180° turns in music with their latter-day classics "Spirit of Eden" and "Laughing Stock". I had always held out hope for a Talk Talk reunion or at least another Mark Hollis tour.

Now, that wish is impossible. NME is reporting Mark Hollis has died at age 64.

That's too bad. I enjoyed a number of their songs during the early to mid 80's.

Fuck me ! We have been in Portugal for a week and missed this. "Colour of Spring" is one of our all time favourite albums. What a real shame?

If you are a fan of Martin Scorsese movies "Goodfellas", "Casino", "Raging Bull", or the tv show "Sopranos", two actors that appeared in them and others passed away recently. Frank Adonis and Vincent Frank Vella. R.I.P.

Frank Adonis passed away December 28.

Vinny Vella died last week.

52. 90210 was our (Mrs W and I) show when we first started dating... sad day!

I watched more than my fair share of Beverly Hills 90210 myself. It was an occupational hazard of the '90s. If you were dating you invariably found yourself with a woman who watched 90210...and had a thing for 'Dylan'.

You either learned to appreciate it, learned to endure it, or got yourself another woman.

For those of you familiar with the 80's tv show Airwolf, actor Jan-Michael Vincent passed away. He passed away Feb 10, but it was only reporteda few days ago.

Never watched "Airwolf" but liked and remember Jan-Michael Vincent from his great 1970s period. "World's Greatest Athlete" "The Mechanic". "Big Wednesday". "White Line Fever". "Baby Blue Marine". "Hooper".

Lived into his 70s but squandered a lot of those years on drugs and alcohol addiction.

Hal Blaine

I just heard the very sad news that session drummer Hal Blaine has passed. Some were very fortunate to celebrate his 90th birthday with him just recently at The Baked Potato in Los Angeles, where he performed publicly for the last time. Arguably the greatest studio session drummer ever.
