Where is Robert's New Record?

Has Robert abandoned all the new songs he wrote with Buddy Miller in 2011? He had an album nearly done many months ago. Of course, I'm thrilled about the tour with Justin Adams, et al, especially since I missed the Mighty ReArranger tour in 2005. Nonetheless, I was really looking forward to more music with Buddy and Darrell.

Just wondering, does anybody here have any knowledge or insight into this?

I hope it will come out soon, but Robert has already set so many records, I can wait a bit!

I agree I would love to see this released I am interested in his reinterpretation of older songs wit the SSS but Band Of Joy was the best show I ever saw andlove Buddy Miller and Patty Griffin's input as a part of Robert's band....BOJ II PLEASE

I'm also wondering. Tours are nice, but I'd much rather hear a new album ( or two, he supposedly had in the can)

I do not know if this has anything to do with the new album, but Christopher Amerousa has this posted. Great photos of Robert..and he talks about doing his next album as well as behind the scenes Robert Plant for Shades of Elvis tribute book.

I could not find this anywhere after using the search function, anyway, enjoy:-)

Thanks Debs and sound like a great book. Look forward to this and the RP album too. What venture of Robert's remains to be seen I guess. He's involved with a few projects over the last few years.
