wilsoncb420
Holy smokes! I didn't think my thread would still be around. Man. Like a trip back in time. Making a little return back to the Zeppelin forums and community. Been jamming a lot of '77 as always.WELL, turns out, in the past few years the '80 stuff HAS grown on me. Some of its pretty good. I like the SIBLY's usually, and Robert's singing and Jimmy's playing isn't much different from Knebworth. AND I LOVE KNEBWORTH! The 4th and 11th!By the way, listen to that No Quarter from 8.11.79. Tell me it doesn't kick ass!
Flares
How can you love the Knebworth 11th show. Most of it is a train wreck!
rm2551
This! This is why the 80's gigs should be given a go. It is incredibly frantic and out there, but man, what a trip! This is the first real good sample of an 80's song I have heard. JPJ and JP absolutely on fire. Just incredible. I still can't believe it.I am hoping there is much more.June 30, 1980....for me this is the best Trampled Underfoot preformed on stage, and one of Jimmy's top 5 solos in my book. When I got this show on Dinosaur/Platinum/ Moonlight... I listened to it for weeks and weeks on end non stop.
