When was the last time Jimmy Page played live?

Recommended Posts

You are correct. Additionally, Jim has only played one full length show in 13 years and has only released one CD of new material in....what, 20 years....? So, for those believing a new CD is in the works are dreaming. Unless it's zeppelin he is retired and the occasional guest appearance is the best we can hope for.

I don't think I'm the only member of this forum to have seen that performance live. Absolutely unforgettable .. and bittersweet that it was SO good, and obviously so rare a moment these days.

Yeah, I was thinking the Donovan appearance but that was almost 2 years ago now!

Just like Jonesy said.... Time certainly does fly!

Joe Walsh recently released his first solo album of new material in I think over 20 years. There's hope!

Page's main problem is that he does n't sing , so he has to rely on a vocalist ( vocalists ..outrider ) or he could release a instrumental album

Thanks for sharing SteveAJones.  Quite a collection of artists on that stage, but too bad we can't tell if Jimmy still has the chops.
