Which one does it for you? Is it even or does one stand out better. It is really hard. I say I RAH for me. I like seeing Zep raw. SRTS I see them as more slick in my mind.

Does anyone know if RAH would be released on MP3/CD and include Long Tall Sally?

No contest. The Albert Hall show. The band were on fire from this period 1969 - 1972. TSRTS: emmmm Great, but not that great. Too much editing and patchy sound from a band tired from a long tour.

As much as I spit out projects with MSG footage, I prefer RAH. One of their best gigs. Although Robert's "SO GOOD!" at the end of The Ocean from the 29th is inhuman. It's on the official release too.

I like Royal Albert Hall more, way more energy and way more raw. Song Remains the Same is good too, don't get me wrong. The more I listen to the Royal Albert Hall concert, the more I like it. Bring It On Home sounds awesome with that Les Paul Black Beauty, that type of stuff won me over.

Albert hall stuff has got the extreme early energy and their early heavy blues and rock and roll! But TSRTS is way more colorful and diverse, with way more styles and also wih the progressive rock from Houses of the holy!

But the DVD from 2003 as a whole, is even more colorful!

Very hard to choose, but I guess I have to say TSRTS, just for the old memories and some of Jimmy best solos phrasing wise, even if the rest of band is tired!

Hello people, I am Led Zeppelin newbie. [Forgive me than if i make noobish comments.]

From what i can read, does it mean that their 69-72 period was their most energy-driven and raw performance period? Also, is TSRTS not as good as BBC Session, according to you than? I have heard their 75' performances and to me they don't sound tired at all. So I am not sure what y'all are talking of?

It's hard for me to chose one over the other. OTOH, the band is more energetic and tighter at the RAH gig. OTOH, TSRTS contains the band's performances of more of my favorite Zep tunes.
