Similarly to many other generations since 1970, we are fascinated by the heritage Zed Zeppelin left behind/to humanity. Thus, we want to make return for the efforts of the band, to celebrate both the masterpieces they created and the joy and wonderful memories they offered to us.

To this effect, we put together a limited edition (collectible) book dedicated to Led Zeppelin, available in 3 copies, to be given as a tribute to members of the band. The content of the book will be made up by the fans from around the world, writing the best memories they have with the famous british band. Each backer can choose between writing a page (10-445 characters) or two (445-890) having olso the possibility to participate in the project by providing a smaller amount, in return they will appear on the backers list’s inserted on the book. The size of the book will be 225mm x 320 mm, in portrait format.

The book is to be fully printed on handmade paper. The covers, made of wood, are also handcrafted in a special way.

The method we use to create and print handmade paper, the vintage look we get thanks to the graphic vision and to the singularity the artisan artistry implies, make us unique in the world, which guarantees uniqueness to the book.

Because music always brings us closer to ourselves, because a good day is the reflection of a song we hum, because beauty shapes itself through music; but also to live deeper, to love with more passion, to die in absolute and to have the strength to remember. For all these reasons and many others: Led Zeppelin.

You put a Stratocaster on the cover? I would suggest a Les Paul. And do you really need $10,000 to make three copies? It's a neat idea, but that's a lot of money for three copies of a book of fan written letters. Who gets these copies once they're made?

The picture of the book is just a sketch, a concept cover. These are very expensive books, crafted on handmade paper, and if we find peolpe interested in these project, the book could have hundred of pages (to hand bind such a books cost's a fortune). The 3 books will go to Robert Plant, Jimmy and John Paul Jones, as a tribute from the fans.

I am sure a lady who was a member of this site (from memory, I think her name was Annie) did something like this for Jimmy. I seem to recall she gathered messages from fans and had them bound into a very expensive volume which was then presented to Jimmy.

yes, she did. she also held an exhibition at knebworth.

if this does go ahead, you might want to send a copy to the Bonham family, too.

Where love is concerned, money shouldn't be an issue.

Are there any Led Zeppelin fans that would help your cause by doing the work needed to make these tribute books happen, rather than asking for donations?

Honestly, I'd rather personally send the boys all twenty bucks and say, "You're the best, you know that right? Lunch is on me."

All that is true. I particpated in both projects. She also now founded Memories In Music, inspired by Jimmy.

I also think that a fourth copy should be made for the Bonham family for Pat.

Fine, twenty-five bucks then, LOL.

No really, I understand what you're saying, slave to zep. The fact that they're millionaires is probably the last thing I think about. But even so, millionaires probably appreciate generosity too just as everyone else , don't you think? I bet when you have millions people are always asking you to do 'this' for them or do 'that' for them, but how often do you think someone says, 'You know what, you're special to me, allow ME to take care of YOU this time."?
