Bonzo_fan
Question for you guys: if you knew someone who was a moderate Led Zeppelin fan, they've heard all of the officially released stuff, but they thought a few other bands are better, and you could play them one song from any bootleg in an effort to convince them of Zeppelin's superiority, which song would you play for them? For argument's sake let's pretend that very show is available in soundboard/Millard sound quality. Let's also assume that this person isn't bothered by a song being quite long. P.S. I am not actually in this situation at the present time, just a hypothetical scenario. I apologize in advance if this question bears great resemblance to previous topics on here... pottedplant
I think there may be a thread for this, if so, I haven't seen it. I am in the exact same situation. I sent this person not a bootleg, but a live performance of WWL 1975 EC and "Boogie Mama." They were blown away by both of them and they did not realize that WWL could sound that way and that Boogie Mama was Led Zeppelin. I told them, you haven't heard anything yet. They are now on YouTube listening to everything and are absolute Zep Heads now. This band can win anyone over because they are the best ever. People just need to hear them. Good luck. Also, this person saw Robert Plant and Jimmy and fell instantly in love with both of them!!! They are very appealing, you know.

People like what they like. They've listened to all of Led Zeppelin's official releases so they're familiar with their music. If it still doesn't move them as much as some other bands well c'est la vie.
