nigelss Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Jimmy's hearing will be very different now to how it was in his younger days. This is not just a problem for Jimmy - we all lose our top frequency response as we age. I'm wondering how he deals with it when mixing/producing music, particularly with regard to equalisation issues. Something which sounds lacking in the top end to him might sound just fine to someone several decades younger. If he changes the equalisation so it sounds fine to him it could end up too toppy for the younger brigade. Just wondering if anyone out there has experience in this area and how it is dealt with. Matjaz1 Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Don't know much about this, but he certainly doesn't do it alone! He had several people in the last 20 years working with him on products related and unrelated to Zeppelin! Quote
