The 1977 Tour

My Dad was at the June 13th show at Madison Square Garden which he still has the stub for.He was going to hitchhike to New York and Scalp a ticket to the show but his dad had some kind of connection with someone in New York who gave him two tickets on the floor in Loge 41D Row A Seat 2.He said that he had brought in some lighters for the show and he had put at least three of them together and lit them all at once and when he did the regulator for one of the lighters broke and shot a 3 to 4 foot flame in the air and security came down to confiscate the lighters.He said it was one of the best concerts he has ever seen and he has seen a lot of the great British bands from the 1970's.He was also supposed to see them at JFK Stadium in 1977 but the show was cancelled either for the death of Bonham or the death of Plant's son.
