Walter Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 That had to be the dumbest play call ever on 4th and 3.... Quote
paul carruthers Posted January 5, 2014 Author Posted January 5, 2014 If Marvin Lewis still has a job after today, I will be dumbfounded... Quote
paul carruthers Posted January 5, 2014 Author Posted January 5, 2014 I'm hoping the Chargers don't get too relaxed in these final minutes.... Quote
Walter Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 You called it Paul! The Bungholes strike again! Quote
paul carruthers Posted January 5, 2014 Author Posted January 5, 2014 All I can say is, go Packers.... Quote
paul carruthers Posted January 5, 2014 Author Posted January 5, 2014 Looking ahead, I'm thinking the Colts have a great shot at knocking off the Pats, or maybe I'm just hoping.... Quote
Strider Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 The Bungles strike again! Never trust a ginger. And never trust Marvin Lewis. Cincinnati is what we thought they were. They are exactly like the Lions...just in different uniforms. Over 20 years of playoff futility and they lose to a team that has as big a reputation for choking in the playoffs as the Bungles do. A pox on both their houses. Enough of these clowns. Let's get to the REAL GAME: 49ers @ Packers!!! Quote
Anjin-san Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Looking ahead, I'm thinking the Colts have a great shot at knocking off the Pats, or maybe I'm just hoping.... Bring it! Quote
pottedplant Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 That orange haired QB lost it for Cincy. Quote
paul carruthers Posted January 5, 2014 Author Posted January 5, 2014 I'm guessing the countdown on Marvin Lewis started as soon as the game was over. Go Rodgers!!!! And go Andrew Luck next week; Kev, I have feeling the Colts will indeed bring it. Quote
Strider Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 That orange haired QB lost it for Cincy. Exactly...never trust a ginger. Quote
Strider Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Okay my fellow football droogies...will this SF @ GB game be higher or lower scoring than that Chargers@Bungholes bore-a-thon? Quote
paul carruthers Posted January 5, 2014 Author Posted January 5, 2014 ^^ I expect a low scoring game. The frigid temps may see to that. And don't you just love these tough guys who go sleeveless for these games? Quote
pottedplant Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 I volunteer to keep Aaron Rogers warm. Quote
paul carruthers Posted January 5, 2014 Author Posted January 5, 2014 Wow, now we have a Packer down on the field. This has to be the most injuries I have ever seen in an opening round... Quote
Strider Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 I volunteer to keep Aaron Rogers warm. I bet you do, Crescent City Crumpette, hehe. Another player down already. I'm not surprised really...these frigid temperatures make the ground harder than concrete. Quote
paul carruthers Posted January 5, 2014 Author Posted January 5, 2014 That is some guts going for it on 4th and 6.... Quote
jb126 Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Joining in, catching up. What a mess Cincinnati was. Poor Bengals. Looks wicked cold in Green Bay, crowd is into it. I too think it will be a low scorer. Quote
pottedplant Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Definately a low scorer. Way too cold to play as usual. Quote
paul carruthers Posted January 5, 2014 Author Posted January 5, 2014 Niners fortunate Kaepernick was not picked off in the endzone. Hoping Mike McCarthy opens up that playbook a little bit on this next drive. As frigid as the temps may be, the Pack are going to need to air it out a bit to win this game... Quote
Strider Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 ^^ I expect a low scoring game. The frigid temps may see to that. And don't you just love these tough guys who go sleeveless for these games? Paul, my favourite visuals from cold weather games are the steam coming from the players. I remember watching the Raiders, I think they were playing in Cleveland, and Otis Sistrunk took off his helmet and you could see the steam rising off his bald head. Badass. Quote
Strider Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 San Francisco blew it...terrible plays in the red zone. 49ers need TDs not FGs. Quote
paul carruthers Posted January 5, 2014 Author Posted January 5, 2014 The way you describe it, I'm sure it was a great image Strider. Btw, I wonder if there are any cheeseheads in the stands with no shirt on.... Quote
paul carruthers Posted January 5, 2014 Author Posted January 5, 2014 Another big stop by the Pack defense, bending but not breaking. Now we just need to wake up the offense... Quote
