kingzoso Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 What a Great Band that seemed to fade away into Oblivion.http://youtu.be/nXRIpGl5ukY Quote
Charles J. White Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 He took the easy way out, he gave up fighting. He never had what it took to be best, so he quit. Pathetic really, but he was unbalanced and ended his life. History would have been far more kind to Badfinger had he kept up the fight instead they are viewed as a footnote... Quote
the chase Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Very good and interesting documentary.. Thanks for posting it kingzoso. Quote

jabe Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Ran across this piece of my history today. Quote
Azapro911 Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Stan Polley was a very rare breed of c*nt. He actually got his secretary to ring up Pete Ham's wife a couple of months after his death to ask her to write a note exonerating Polley of any wrongdoing. I mean even among high profile con men, that's a new level of scummery right there. But at long last there is good news: with Polley now dead and the legal issues with Apple, Warner Bros. and goodness knows who else having finally been resolved a couple of years ago, the Pete Ham estate now receives full songwriting royalties due to them, with the particularly lucrative 'Without You' bringing in up to $200,000 a year on the back of the highly popular Nilsson and Carey covers. So at least now, it wasn't all for nothing. Quote
John M Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 I wish Badfinger had done more all out rockers like "Rock of all Ages". Killer guitar in that song. Quote
cosmic_juice Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 Such a good band... I got hooked on one of their best ofs ... Some real hidden gems Quote
