I'm not a huge fan, but I still enjoy many of his songs.

A very talented, underated singer and song writer with an effortlessly, powerful voice. The lyrics and melodies he wrote seem quite simple and yet there is always a depth to his songs.

Thanks for taking me back and reminding me how pleasurable it is listing to Gordon Lightfoot.

One of my favourites ....

Gordon Lightfoot is a legend here in the Dominion. He is sort of our Ian Hunter. When I was growing up, me dad would have Lightfoot's music always on the turntable. He has a big following from Newfoundland right through to British Columbia. He was interviewed on CBC Radio a few weeks ago.

I love his music. Sundown was played on the show Blacklist Monday night and the song was perfect for the scene! I have a few of his albums:-)

I have some vinyl around here somewhere.

I think I first fell for him upon hearing "The wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald".

We saw him a couple times back in the 80's. We had front row seats at one venue. I have one of his greatest hits cd's.

He played this area not too long ago.

The Edmund Fitzgerald was an awesome ship. Hard to believe it sunk in a lake.

This is one of My Favorite Songs (such a simple song but a very Beautifully Crafted Song).

What more can I say. Gordon Lightfoot is a master Craftsmen.
