Wolfman
It was posted on here years ago. It's Jimmy (I believe in 1979) and he's getting some sort of award. He's super sweaty and he's making a goofy frown face.
SozoZoso
I've tried googling but more disturbing is that google images have shown me Jimmy Saville tucked in bed with a cigar in his mouth *shudder*

aen27
Is it the Harparic award from Roy Harper in 1974 for playing at his Valentine's Day show? He also talks about this in an OTD. See February 14th. Edited February 7, 2014 by aen27
aen27
^ If that is it, it's later than 1979.
Wolfman
That's the one. Thanks! P.S. What year is it from?
SteveAJones
P.S. What year is it from? Given the era and the Italian photographer I'd say it was taken on or around July 16, 1984 when he performed at the Pistoia Blues Festival in Italy as part of an Alexis Korner Benefit Concert (joined by Ginger Baker, Jon Heiseman, Dick Heckstall-Smith, Barbara Thompson, and Georgie Fame). I'll contact a couple Italian collectors to ask if they might know what the "award" was presented for.

ccrider
From his web page, no dates or locations. Pretty sure last two are 1984 @ Old Mill House.
Wolfman
Jimmy looks weird in those pictures by his house. It almost doesn't look like him.

SteveAJones
Is it the Harparic award from Roy Harper in 1974 for playing at his Valentine's Day show? He also talks about this in an OTD. See February 14th. I've reconsidered this...clearly his hair is too long to be July 1984...it's credited to an Italian photographer, right? aen27
You mean 1974. I have never seen a credit for this photograph.
