F1 season is here! First two practice sessions were today. Qualifying tomorrow, first race on sunday.

Nice. Any significant changes? Will Mercedes dominate yet again?

My boy Harvick has won three in a row in NASCAR, with a hiccup at Fontana due to poor decision making, not car set up...

This weekend at “The Paperclip”  aka Martinsville, before a much needed week off.

Mercedes looks strong again. Halo safety system changes the visual look of the cars a bit:

Good race in Bahrain, Vettel wins again. Bottas was really close, couple of laps more and he probably would have passed.

One of Ferrari's crew members was hurt during Kimi's second pit stop. Broke two bones from his leg. It's amazing how Ferrari always manages to ruin Kimi's race.

Entertaining F1 season so far.  Looking forward to Monaco tomorrow.

Any feelings about Danica's last Indy 500?

Merry Christmas race fans! The BEST day of racing is bestowed on us once again.

Enjoying the precision, strategic, and visually mesmerizing streets of Monaco.  Ricciardo has been The Man all week so far....but we’ve seen that before.

Not no really, Strider. Hope she has a good race and comes through without injury. It’s tough to just jump into an Indy car after not being in one for the better part of a decade, at the 500, and not wreck out.

Tonight Harvick is going for four wins in a row (counting last weeks All-Star race) and he’s starting from the back with very limited practice time - due to failing inspection. Should be fun watching him drive to the front.

Congratulations to Daniel Ricciardo! Great strategy and execution with an ailing transmission/engine!!!  Earnhardt would be proud with you running his stylized number 3!

Indy has begun so that means an Indy shot and....time to walk up the street! 🍾🎉🏁🏆🏼

Season as a whole has been good, but Monaco was boring as usual. Next stop: Montreal. Should be better.

Yes and no. The racing is never super exciting there - but the precision and on edge performance it takes is always impressive!  Not a great one, but I still enjoyed it. Love the Montreal course.

Impressive! Was that in qualifying today? I haven’t watched it yet. Good season so far!

NASCAR is at its roots again this Labor Day Weekend...Darlington! Southern 500 tomorrow night with throwback paint schemes covering over 7 decades of racing. Great track, great history, great racing.

Yes, pole for Räikkönen! Ferrari seems to be the fastest car at the moment, but Hamilton is still leading, thanks to Vettel's mistakes. Especially that crash in Germany cost him much.

Yeah that race was insane! You’re correct, Ferrari has found something.

So F1 has been decided, congrats to Lewis Hamilton, all others have finished their seasons....so it’s Championship Weekend down in Miami/Homestead for NASCAR.

The “Final Four” this season are:

Kyle Busch #18 - Toyota - Joe Gibbs Racing - 8 wins this season - 1 Championship

Kevin Harvick #4 - Ford - Stewart-Haas Racing - 8 wins (plus the all-star race) this season - 1 Championship

Joey Logano #22 - Ford - Penske Racing - 2 wins this season - no championships

Martin Truex Jr. #78 - Toyota - Front Row Motorsports - 4 wins this season - 1 Championship (defending champion)

Sunday it’s whomever finishes highest amongst those four will win The Cup.

Great racetrack, it is a rough, bumpy surface, 1.5 mile perfect oval with multiple grooves, which lends itself to great racing.  Should be an epic finish to the season.

Well that sucked...oh well, next season!

And here is the new season!

Rolex 24 completed

Now it’s time for the “Great American Race” 2019 edition.

So far...William Byron won the pole (driving the 24 made famous by Jeff Gordon and now with the 7-time champion crew chief from Jimmie Johnson’s team, Chad Knaus), Jimmie Johnson won The Clash, and the winners of The Duels on Thursday night were Kevin Harvick and Joey Logano.

Green Flag drops at 2:30 ET on Sunday.
