The "noose" was actually a pull rope. The Juicy Smellit of Nascar?

Obviously you have no clue of what happened there. But keep your narrative rolling to appease yourself....

We know exactly what happened here. The so called noose is merely a pull rope in the garage recently assigned to Wallace's crew. An FBI investigation team (15 agents) concluded it's been there since at least last October. Hard to believe a blubbering multi-millionaire NASCAR driver and his professional pit crew can't tell a fucking pull rope from a noose. #NASCAR: Go Woke, Go Broke!

Apparently you don’t.

First, drivers haven’t been nor weren’t allowed in the garage area last weekend nor at any point since they’ve resumed racing. So, Bubba Wallace wasn’t the person who alerted authorities.

Second, it is a noose.
With that said - it was tied in the garage area during the weekend race last October. NASCAR has since taken an inventory of the 1,684 garage stalls at their various Cup event hosting tracks and found 11 pull-down style ropes (a normal pull-down, with a loop) and only 1 had a noose style rope - garage 4 at Talladega.

So does that mean someone was that well thought out 8 months in advance?  Hell no! The selection of garage stalls in the past was based on owners points, not sure how they assign them currently.

So the question of was it an overreaction  is on the table for opinion. To me, given the current climate in our country and a week removed from that particular driver asking the sanctioning body to ban the traditional flag representing the confederacy - which we all know they granted, it wasn’t an overreaction at all. Of course the media ran with it, but that’s their business.

Based on the emotional responses I’ve seen, from non-fans and fans alike, there was/is a reason for concern.

I’ve been a fan for 44 years and have never been more proud to be a fan.

Racing is so brutal, at times.

Great win for Sergio Perez! So happy for him. Very talented driver who finally has his day. Congratulations! 🏁🍾🏆

Yes, he absolutely deserved it! Red Bull should hire him for 2021.

Too bad for Russell, but he's young and will have plenty of chances in the future, maybe already next weekend.

20 years ago The Intimidator drove the race with his son, for the first and only time...

Fiery end to last night’s Daytona 500.

Michael McDowell managed to be in the lead the moment the caution was thrown, so safety workers could get to and help all involved in the pileup faster. His first career win.
