Ugra Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Hi there! Here's me jamming along to the rover. My absolute favorite from physical graffiti. The guitar is a cort cr250. Did my best to make it sound half decent! Hope you folks like it too. Thank you for watching. Cheers :-) http://vimeo.com/90510995 Quote
zepdawg Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Thoroughly enjoyed that because The Rover really does it for me, keep practicing so it becomes second nature, then who knows where it can take ya! Quote
#1fan Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 (edited) Play it in first postion and you nailed it and it will sound better too, looks like you used cheesy internet tab, well played though. I liked you gary Moore cover too. Edited April 28, 2014 by #1fan Quote

Ddladner Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Very nice!!! I love The Rover and often have a craving for Jimmy's solo, which you played with great attitude!! Quote
Ugra Posted May 15, 2014 Author Posted May 15, 2014 Thank you all for the kind compliments friends :-) Was really nervous about sharing the video over here.... I kinda messed up the tone in my previous zep cover (sibly). brought a les paul type guitar just to cover this. Am so glad I didn't screw up! Love you all. Rock on! Quote
Ugra Posted June 21, 2014 Author Posted June 21, 2014 Just the solo :-) https://soundcloud.com/sri-page/led-zeppelin-the-rover Quote
journeytoroom101 Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 Just the solo :-) https://soundcloud.com/sri-page/led-zeppelin-the-rover The solo was well done and it is always a joy to see someone playing Zep and doing it from the heart. Great choice in songs by the way - IMO this is Mr. Page at his most melodic - the overdubs and the solo are beautifully constructed and executed. Quote

I agree, this is a beautifully constructed solo! And I love the 'here it comes' tease just before the solo...clever! Quote
