Mr. Hudson Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 It's not for educational purposes as I already understand/know all the tricks. It's purely for entertainment purposes. Often or not, I'll be on YouTube trying to find good, solid, grooving drummers, but rarely see any taking on a Zeppelin cover - which to me, would be porn. A lot of the time, I find bad covers. I can't find one decent drum cover of Wearing and Tearing, and unfortunately don't have the equipment or facilities to make my own videos yet. So are there any gems out there that you think I may have missed? PS. Most drummers on here are going to be Bonham-inspired, so if you catch this topic, I wouldn't mind seeing some of your work as well! Quote
redrum Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Drummer Michael Lee playing 'Kashmir' on 'Unledded' (fantastic drumming) Would that be considered a cover? Lee died in 2008 at age 39. Quote
TheR0ver Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Yes. Me. Would you like to see Wearing and Tearing? I will need some time to set up, but can do that for you. Quote
ledzepfilm Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 GrooveDrummin has some excellent Bonham influenced videos. www.youtube.com/user/groovedrummin Quote
Dirigible Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Phrase plays Bonzo better than anyone I've ever heard, except the late John Henry himself. His band Led Astray is pretty good too: Quote
