I prefer when they are featured in small, personal, character-driven films such as "Almost Famous", "Argo", "Silver Linings Playbook" and "Fast Times at Ridgemont High".

Fair point. Argo and The Fighter (if memory serves correctly) are my favorite examples of such.

I think this X-Men (& Women) movie, with it's time travel angle, looks good. I will go and see it. I didn't think the "Kashmir" instrumental's use was all that good. The Godzilla "Kashmir" aka "Come With Me" was much more exciting. I didn't think much of the 1998 film, and I'm not looking to the 2014 to be any better, but I'm older and jaded. :}
