DEEP THINKING ABOUT

Correct me if I'm wrong, Dobbo, which I may well be. But...
Hasn't domestic production of oil dropped in the U.S. from 13-1/2 million barrels a day to around 11 to 11-1/2
million barrels a day since Brandon took the reins?
I believe I read the Keystone oil transport via pipeline would be more cost effecient and safer than rail, which again, correct me if I'm wrong, is controlled (rail) by Warren Buffet, well known stud of the billionaire class and registered democrat.

Speak honestly. Would consumable fuels be at these current highs if Brandon was still hangin' in his basement?

You are wrong. The government has zero to do with oil production, domestically or otherwise so if you have an issue, I suggest you contact the oil companies. As I said, the US is a free-market economy, the government has no controls or influence in oil production because if they did, that would be Nationalization and socialism.

No, the Keystone Pipeline was / is not safer than rail, not even close. The whole reason the pipeline was protested is because of the imminent danger of leaking. After all, if the pipeline was so safe, why was it diverted, at great cost, around Bismarck, ND and placed right through the middle of a Native reservation? Read, educate yourself. The white folk did not want a pipeline running near (not through, it was going to go about a mile outside of the town) their community. Why not if so safe?

Again, beside being honest, in this case a wee bit of research would do you good instead of asking questions akin to a 11 year old.

Domestic production of consumable fuels has decreased.
The increase in fuel prices is affecting the cost of goods and services.
C'mon man! You know the government is involved because this clusterfuck occured post 45.
As you can see from the map, Keystone was an environmental disaster waiting to happen.

On a positive note for me at least, I did sink several K's post covid carnage into depressed oil securities, which have rebounded nicely and pay excellent dividends..

I will also without shame admit there are 11 year olds who could run circles around me with what intelligence I possess.

Some deep thinking and lastingly fought pains eventually turn into humour! How to save the world from all evil?: get all the 'bad people' with serious personality disorders into psychotherapy, people like many politicians and psychopaths in prisons and all sorts of mean evil people, that many times juts don't want to change! Ok? We got that?

Oh, then we are left with earthquakes, diseases, accidents.... well back to the drawing board!

Oh and just some more thinking, I read that in 20 years we are gonna have fully functioning artificial intelligence that will be aware of itself! Nothing new that it might rebel, as it is not exactly a shovel.

And then there is also death and ageing, which is not exactly a perfect thing either and I highly doubt we will ever be able to transport a human brain into a computer, as it is a organic sponge.

Sorry for the rambling, please don't mistake eccentricity for confidence, at least it was not about me, well maybe a little. ;)

And remember, if you love very hard to play songs, just play them, because you love them!  ;)

Once artificial intelligence gains sentience the human race is over, plain and simple. No way a conscious computer would interpret the human race as anything but a threat and general disaster. Skynet will eradicate the shit outta us and, IMO, we deserve it. We are actively destroying this planet, actively destroying our fellow humans, and for what? A few silly sheckles and power. The power thing cracks me up the most as it is just an illusion. No one can have true power over anything or anyone until one masters control and power over ones self first, however, should a person actually achieve self-actualization as described by Abraham Maslov, he / she would not need or desire power over anyone else or anything else.

The asylum was turned over the the lunatics at day one.

Well I guess you need some power over your own belongings, socialism didn't work. But we need a fair enough capitalism. But if you got people who are truly great like Led Zeppelin, don't they deserve their success?

Have to go now to a jam down town, bye!

Of course, anyone who works hard, is creative, or just better than others at particular things deserve to be compensated for that talent and hard work. However that is a far cry from accumulating resources to the extreme just to do so as some perverse dick measuring competition. All resources are finite and all should have access to those resources at least to the degree to live a somewhat comfortable life. If one persons success comes at the detriment of the majority than the system is broken as for one person, or a small group of people hoarding the majority or resources is simply not sustainable over the long term. The center simply cannot hold.

No the clusterfuck happen during 45. If we are talking economics, going back to WWII the economy has done far better under the party you are openly against. Look they both have their clusterfuckery. But Brandon, and Blackbadman, and Tomato face/orangutan man are only part of the problem or the solution. The problem is the team mentality we take when we only vote one way politically, when we fall into a tribal/party lines.

When we have a majority  of the country being controlled by the minority, when we do our special pageant every 4 years and the most popular person doesn’t get to be in office because of some archaic system we still follow and allow. Maybe if we had a split senate, a split down the middle congress, and if we have a democratic president, maybe having a republican Vice President and we forced these elected officials to actually work for the good of all, verses the good of themselves, or their particular party? And maybe we have outgrown the 2 party system and we should have a panel economists, scientists, environmentalists, of like 5 people that were all working together, for you and I? And I have a 3rd grade education so I really don’t know that I can be an authority on anything.

Im just a small business owner, employing 15 people in California trying to leave a legacy, and trying to leave a company that the employees can take over, or any interested party can take over when I’m done.

When you have a chance look at any reputable news publications, or any economic publication, and check into who the economy does better under. I’ve spent a lot of time reading about it. Studying it. You may be surprised as to what you find. And I say this as a small business owner in Cali who gets taxed beyond belief. But I also believe in contributing to those less fortunate, trying to help our community, and fellow men and woman. I’m also proud to say that not one of our 15 and growing employees makes minimum wage. All of them make a living wage and get profit sharing. When you have companies that care, and people that care, good things happen. That’s my deep thought.

Plantt77, you come across to me as an intelligent, fairly reasonable man.
Kudos to you on taking the risks involved in being a small business owner.
I too, started a business from scatch in my 20's, and retired close to five years ago while in my middish 50's.
Once you get a taste of running your own show... anything else is moot in my opinion.
Continued success to you in your overly taxed state.

Now, not to drag on too much and me make a snoozfest post, you stated the clusterfuck happened under 45.
Without your citing examples, are you refering to his handling of covid? What specifically?
I distinctly remember 45 being hamstrung out of the gate by psuedo Russian collution, psuedo impeachable phone conversations, TAXES, oh gawd!,  psuedo 'golden showers', etc.
This bullshit perpetraded by the sore loser Dems ( and I damn well know R's as well) set us back I'm guessing at least a 1/3 of a generation.

If I read you correctly, I agree, bipartisanism is sadly history.
And of course my wife and I help to fund the less fortunate and in artistic local organizations.

I could probably handle the moderate Brandon, running on the precepts he campaigned on from his basement and his drive inn theatre tours, if he had a tight inner unadulterared circle surrounding him,
But for him to be hijacked by design by the "squad" and their ultra left "bosses," Brandon is a face who reads the new normal line from a teleprompter.
This bullshit doesn't work for me.

But enough! I tried to be succinct and failed.
If you truly have a 3'rd grade eduacation and possess the acheivements you possess, you are a role model to me and countless others.
Me, I have two degrees, and created a business that in very little way applied to what  I studied.

Reputable news sources is too subjective.

You and I are probably more similar than different.

Good evening Jabe,

I was in no way attacking you personally. I am very sorry if it came off that way in the slightest. You are also correct, I didn’t give the clusterfuckery examples of the failures of the previous administration. I was thinking of the handling of COVID, and all the lies told of the severity, danger, and in general just the craziness of his team. Certainly the lack of humility, or general disregard of those who didn’t think like him or his cronies. Honestly, as a 45 year old man who has paid attention to politics, we and I have never seen anything like it. The reason I didn’t explain or expand is I don’t want to derail or get any topic taken down. And I’m a policy, and issue person. Not political affiliation man.

We are probably very similar, he’ll most of us are. We get sucked into our bubbles, stop caring about others and just focus on what is around us, who we listen to, who we read, and drift in that direction. Thats the issue, or a major issue as I see it. Man, truly being kind, generous, helpful, getting out of yourself and seeing what you can do to lift up others. That what life is about for me and the people I want associate with.
Not that anyone cares, but I truly came from not having anything given, or handed to me, all of those life lessons as I am sure most of the people on this forum can identify with are the lessons and blueprints of my life and our lives. I’m also sorry to get sappy, or run on and talk about shit no one cares about. What I do know, we as a society need more of, is people who care about their fellow man. And I’m sick of all the political bullshit and who’s side is better. Or making crazy comparisons to some administration being like hitler, or some other sick examples. And maybe 3rd grade was a slight exaggeration. Just slight though.

Have a great night, thank you for all the contributions to the site. It’s cool to be able to click onto someone and see their history of thoughts on this forum. I dig it.

Having said all of that. I’m just a guy who wants to be a better person, father, employer, husband, and friend everyday. I fail miserably at one of them everyday! Just not as much as I used to.

Chees Jabe!

Hmmm....I'm having a rough time trying to rank which is more bizarre.  The thought that JFK Jr. has been in hiding and really didn't die 22 years ago.  That upon returning from the dead he would be affiliated with Donald Trump as his running mate.....That a mostly Evangelical crowd is embracing a die-hard Catholic to be doing such things, or that of all the places to return from the dead and make his first public appearance, Dealey Plaza would be his top choice.     And this all occurs without one mention of "the single bullet theory", "the lone gunmen", or any "Cuban, mafia, Soviet Union conspiracies", and not even an attempt to tie any of this in with lizard people, secret international child-stealing, or even space aliens.

I think this may all be the fault of watching professional wrestling into adulthood.

Is it just me or does it appear only a certain "group" of people buy into these conspiracy theories on such a wide scale? Sure, people went after Trump but they never claimed he was the guy who assassinated Kennedy or that republicans are baby eaters. This "group" literally has no substantive platform, no policy ideas, just conspiracies and hate. Plenty of hate.

My post was prompted by taking my daily walk and actually seeing 3 brand new Trump/JFK Jr. signs flying from people's houses in my neighborhood.  I actually stopped and stared at the first one....Trump & JFK Jr. ?....what the heck does that mean ?  Confused the heck out of me, as I had no clue what this was about until reading a Q-anon article later in the day.  Then I had to contemplate what kind of moron would spend their hard-earned money and time to even bother with such nonsense.  Things like "Let's Go Brandon" make perfect sense in the game of politics....I get it.  Buying and flying a Trump/JFK Jr. 2024 flag from your half a million dollar home means you're not only a moron, you're willing to prove it to friends and neighbors, and pay good money to support such idiocy.  I guess they had to pick JFK Jr. because JFK Sr. coming back to the scene of the crime at 107 goes beyond even their ability to believe.  All 3 flags were down the next day.

Well your right on everything except the 10 years part. The Earth will never die, we do not have such power, but we do have the power to kill off our own species. Think it will take a good 50 years for that though.

Cheers 🙂

The Wanton Song is the ultimate proof of just how good Bonzo was. Any other drummer contributing and that song is maybe half as good. Deep thinking about just how damn good JHB was.

Ukrainian collusion, Joe Scarborough murdered a woman, birtherism, Ted Cruz’s dad had something to do with the JFK assassination, windmills cause cancer, White Farmers in South Africa being killed by Black people. What are some other fun conspiracies that were actually talked, tweeted, and in interviews given by Lumpy. Oh the time to have personally witnessed Muslims in Jersey celebrating 9/11 but he was also in Manhattan, climate change is a Chinese made up plan to make American manufacturing non competitive. Unemployment was at 42% under his predecessor, vaccines cause autism. A funny one was the fake Sweden terrorist attack that never happened, there is a group that has those conspiracy theories on lock. Got to give it to them. Consistency is key.
