Jahfin
I was never a huge fan of punk rock or New Wave (at least the variety that got the most attention on MTV in the early 80s) but I am a big fan of postpunk/postmodern or whatever you want to call it, the music that followed punk in the late 70s and early 80s. The Kevster
Hey The Kevster and Sister Ray, were you at the last board? No, why do you ask?
Muse
Because for someone to dig the bands you listed on this board are pretty rare. Yes yes yes. We need to cultivate a group of people that can keep the Other Music forum going without resorting to "these guys sound like Led Zeppelin!!!". tom kid
See like here's an example... Last year (Nov) I made a Television thread. 2 people on this board knew who they were... Now, almost every person in this thread mentioned Television and other bands that would have blown me away last year, if more than 2 or 3 people knew. I found out about Television from my dad, he gave me the Marquee Moon album to listen to. Edited November 25, 2007 by tom kid
evilkimevil
OK, here my list. I'm focusing on the early punk/proto-punk bands in order to keep it to readable length.
