JerryJeff
I've been a fan of this band Slow Season for a bit and they're second album comes out in November. I've seen'em live about 4 times now and they are the loudest band I've ever seen. Their songs are never the same show to show, like Zeppelin, and they just expload live. Here are two songs off of their next album: https://soundcloud.com/easyriderrecords/slow-season-sixty-eight And this is them live: If you get a chance you should go see'em live. kirchzep27
This band is obviously good, but why a band these days would use the descending dada/dada riff is beyond me. It got to be generic with hard rock bands and cliche w metal bands. Yeah it works in a song like black dog, or over the hills...but thats when its within a great riff structure. Its good for young record buyers, i guess. On the second track, like the zep japan bootleg...it features lead drum cymbal. I couldnt listen to whole song. kirchzep27
I got time to listen to more of this band online and i think they are very good. With the songs off this new album, i hear mostly a sab influence, theres a cool early jimmy page influence on, sixty eight. With the live stuff i sampled, the drummer and bass guitar player have a good early led zep vibe. I think, king city is a great song...strangely one of the songs with less views on youtube. College radio should pick up on that song.
