tyedye Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 I wonder if JP will have black or gray hair for the concert? I seen his pic on Guitar World mag with gray hair, and he looks pretty damn hot with gray hair, I think he should leave it gray. What's your opinion? Quote
Bonham Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 I wonder if JP will have black or gray hair for the concert? I seen his pic on Guitar World mag with gray hair, and he looks pretty damn hot with gray hair, I think he should leave it gray. What's your opinion? I think I'll be more keen to see how his guitar playing is, not the colour of his hair, hahaha. Like it matters. Quote
Jimmy 66 Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Yeah , he looks wads better with grey hair ..........I hope he leaves it that way! Quote
Killing Floor Blues Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 I think I'll be more keen to see how his guitar playing is, not the colour of his hair, hahaha. Like it matters. Exactly. Jimmy could come out onstage with purple hair for all I care. As long as his injured finger doesn't prevent him from being Jimmy. Quote
obscured Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 Exactly. Jimmy could come out onstage with purple hair for all I care. As long as his injured finger doesn't prevent him from being Jimmy. Oh yes! Quote
Electrophile Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 Pink with a blue streak in the front. And cut into a mullet. Quote
Rocktopus Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 I saw JP on a BBC interview recently and he looks better than he has done for ages. Not really bothered about what colour his hair is but if you insist, keep it real, grey. Quote
LedZepChick Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 Whatever he prefers, but I think he looks great with the gray, as well.... Quote
redeyedrichard Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 Why on earth would he dye it though? I think the idea of dying your hair when it has already fully turned grey seems a tad stupid to me!! Quote
Puck Slapping Maple Sucker Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 GREY ALL THE WAY!!! :cheer: Quote
george90125 Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 don't even care if he was bald lol as long as he still plays Quote
tyedye Posted November 22, 2007 Author Posted November 22, 2007 I hope his finger injury doesn't affect his playing. That would be a damn shame. Anyone know the cause of his digit fracture? He is definitely in the top percentile of my favorite guitarists. His hair color will not affect his playing, I just think his hair looks so much better gray...not everyone can pull it off, but he certainly does. Here's his pic in Guitar World I cannot be at the concert. I wish like crazy it was possible, but it is not. I hope they release the concert in DVD or better yet, air it live(and then release the DVD). It's maddening really. Quote
Trashbag Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 Jimmy broke it from tripping and falling. As for his appearence, just compare him to how he looked in 1998. He looked fucking terrible those years, black hair or not. I'm glad he's looking healthier now. Quote
Zoso4Vida Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 I actually liked how he looked with the black hair. But like everyone says, he could come out bald for all I care. As long as those fingers are working, it's all good! Quote
Trashbag Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 Now here's a question for you folks. What if (God forbid) Plant came onto that stage bald? Quote
mor7mx Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 Now here's a question for you folks. What if (God forbid) Plant came onto that stage bald? OK, that would be really odd xD Quote
LadyRaven Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 Grey, his hair looks so pretty now. When it was died it looked fake and not very normal. Quote

Sure, as soon as I stop reading Guitar World, they get Jimmy in there looking all svelte and bad-ass. I think he should keep the gray hair...it's all about the naturalness. Natural-looking gray is much better than fake-looking black. Quote
desirezep Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 I think it does take a lot of getting used to, as when you think of Jimmy you remember how dark he was, but we forget they grow old,and so the grey hair comes along with it,I think he will keep to the grey now. Quote
clarksdale Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 Grey. Good on him - he looks great. Quote
Jim Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 I think it would be just a tad foolish to go 'back to black' to speak, after letting it all go it's natural colour and ditching the dreaded just for men... He's 63 for god sake anyway, how many men that age still have Jet Black hair.. (The answer is none) Quote
GetTheLedOut Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 He'll sport the gray, it makes him look distinguished. Quote
