Well Stan, you are new to the forum, and perhaps to Led Zeppelin, but, in the 1970's, as big a draw as The Rolling Stones were, Led Zeppelin were the bigger draw. Zeppelin broke attendance records in the 1970's.

Although Zeppelin did not book as many shows as others in the 70's, on any head-to-head basis Zeppelin would be the biggest draw. This thread is not about who played the most shows, unless you want it to be.

Led Zeppelin was not a bigger draw than bands that had more mainstream appeal. It's simple math.
