So far, I've had the good fortune of picking teams that are either in first or close to first. Some of the contestants in this year's pool have been hurt by not picking the Tigers or the Royals in the AL Central--but, the season's only a week old. Besides, with the long baseball season there's really no need for weekly numbers. In theory, there really isn't any need for people's rankings until the All-Star break. That's when things start to shake themselves out. Before then, everything is in flux. They don't give out ribbons for whomever is in first place in May. The loss in Tampa suprised me a bit. Hardy and Wieters cannot return fast enough. If anyone had a crystal ball and had taken Houston they would be in good shape now.
