Tie Dye Zeppelin t shirt from the 80's?

Recommended Posts

Brand new here so forgive me if this is in the wrong part of the forum! I have a tie dye shirt that I think is from the 80's, On the ones that I have found either for sale now or have been sold on Ebay there is on the right side of the figure , it says "1984 MYTH GEM LTD" But on mine it just says "backstage pass", Is mine from the 80's too or is it a newer version. Thanks!

Hi Southerntraveler,

I don't actively have a focus on t-shirts but I kept some of the ones I purchased new back in the '80's and early '90's, and I believe yours is a newer example. Around that time period the shirts were Myth Gem / Winterland, then Winterland. I'd have to check the shirts. I yield to someone who has a focus on t-shirts though. Hopefully someone will post with more information.

Backstage Pass seems to be a subsidiary of the company Liquid Blue, which according to their page was established in 1987. Your T-shirt could be old and it could be new depending on when it was made.

Google is your friend in these cases. Doing a search for Myth Gems LTD was a bust except for their shirts being sold on Ebay.
