ZoSoJo
I recently purchased a used copy of Neil Preston's Led Zeppelin Portraits. Tucked inside was this photo clipping from a Rolling Stone Magazine. Enjoy!
FireOpal
With father at Knebworth'79 backstage.(courtesy by MissLouah) With Scarlet in the view of photographer Jim Marshall at the Blink Gallery in London in july, 2005.(courtesy by MissLouah) These are beautiful photos, too bad about the watermarks. That one of Jimmy & Scarlet - they are like mirror images! If she had dark hair, she'd be his doppelganger. I'm loving all these pics, thanks everyone. lilpib
Thank You but Pagey is HOT these days, Ok he is SERIOUSLY HOT! Now how can you possibly think that this one isn't hot :o You see my point I'm not sure if this has been posted before, but the Halfin shot of Jimmy smiling and leaning into his guitar is apparently Jimmy's favorite picture of himself - it's also what he used to close out the pictorial autobiography with the phrase "it might get louder." I am hunting for a photo I once saw of Jimmy Page in a bathingsuit sitting on a log in a lake or the ocean. Or I dreamt it. Could be...(wink) Enjoy! oh, and click on these to enlarge. I haven't figured out how to load them to full size. jo I believe this is the picture you're looking for!

FireOpal
Attention fans of emaciated Yardbirds Jimmy: Rolling Stone mag's web site has a "This week in rock" feature that has a 1968 clip from French television of the Yardbirds doing "Train Kept a Rollin'" - Page is looking impossibly cool, Beck seems to be MIA: http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/when-keith-richards-wrote-i-cant-get-no-satisfaction-in-his-sleep-20110509

Texas Melanie
I believe this is the picture you're looking for! Thanks for the picture. Wow! That is brave of him. I thought he didn't know how to swim. Only he could wear such a swimsuit and not look like a douche. Thanks FireOpal for the Rolling Stone link. I love watching Jimmy play in the Yardbirds compared to Zep. He looks like he has to fight to contain his energy. Is it me or does the sound get turned down at the 18 second mark? What a strange gig - I imagine the band must have minded the French host kind of playing along with them.

Lëah Lilith Eleida
Hello! Avid Pagette, yet first time poster here. I can openly admit that I looked at all 357 pages of this thread without taking a break. Here's one of my favourites from Chicago '77 - it's probably been posted here before, but what's the harm in looking again, eh? Texas Melanie
Thanks Leah for posting that. He did look cute in this photo but it is also a reminder that the white bucking bronco he was riding was kicking his backside in a big way. It just saddens me. He was not doing well at all and it would not let up for a least 6 years.

FireOpal
What interesting ... accoutrements he had on his lapels. Aw, that quirky ol' Jim. It's wonderful in the recent pics of JP to see him so radiant with health and (hopefully) happiness. Long may he rock.
