I got a johnny Morton jersey for Christmas, and he was traded 10 days later.When I was 4 years old, I took a ticket out of a fishbowl at a church raffle in my Dad's arms. I won an autographed NFL football by the 1964 Detroit Lions. I brought it out when I was about 7 or 8, and played with that ball until I graduated. We re-laced it at least 3 times. You could wet your fingers and throw that ball a mile. Never regretted the decision to use it...would only be worth about $150 today.I sit on the 35 yard line 10 rows up. Miami...Damn Paul, I really thought the Dolphins would improve this year and be competitive in the division...not Patriots-level, but enough to be second-best team in the AFC East. Chicago...Nothing of interest about this game. Which means it'll probably go into overtime haha. Denver...Broncos proving it's much better to have a 'Brock' than a 'Blaine' at quarterback. Oakland...Yes, I am keeping hope alive...Chiefs-Raiders throwback to the good old AFL. New England...Who goes down for the Patriots this week? Every week they suffer a crucial injury...they're down to picking up scrubs from the YMCA. In theory, Chip Kelly's fast-paced Oregon-style offense could take advantage of the Patriots' decimated ranks and gas 'em. But in reality, Chip Kelly is in Philadelphia and what he's doing in Philly is a far cry from Oregon. Pittsburgh...It takes more than a game-manager to win at Pittsburgh, Andy.
