xZOSOx
does anyone know anything about this?
Chris.
There were, I believe, two Madison Square Garden shows filmed; maybe three. Any new audio would be from the night that wasn't originally used in the 1976 movie (i.e. "Black Dog" on the DVD is from a different night than in the original film). Predator
The one on the DVD which i believe is really ****ing amazing, better than TSRTS version, is I think entirely from 07/29/73 which is the last night of filming, whereas the other version is from the 27th i think. theremin
there were three performances from MSG they were all filmed and recorded jimmy page just used a different one on TSRTS than on the dvd
Evster2012
The version on the original cut of the film was an amalgam of the three performances at MSG to best fit the film they had available. For the re-release, Jimmy wanted one complete, uncut version.

Rock Action
I prefer the 2003 DVD version, far and away. Definitely a more spirited performance.
