White
I have a friend who did 2 tours of duty in Afghanistan and is getting ready to head out to Iraq soon - whenever that person leaves, I worry and think about this song a lot

Charles J. White
The line "dreams about England on their mind" is such a classic line for Canadians who are over
Charles J. White
For all of their critics. this song is all about small town north Alberta - and they nailed it! It really is about small town Canada!!! I actually got to hang out with Chad for a little while downtown Halifax at a place called the Liquor Dome - it's the great dance club and bar in Halifax in the middle of the city just up from the waterfront. And I liked the guy a lot, he was small town Canada and he made it, so good for him!

I have met Gordie a number of times - in fact, before Big Sugar signed a record deal he played Halifax at either a place called the Double Deuce or Dalhousie University I can't really remember anymore. He also did a GIbson guitar clinic in Halifax which I attended that was a lot of fun and I bumped into him as he was walking to the clinic from his hotel just checking out Halifax.
