charlton
I got this in college and still love it. I had a copy of the Denmark show and Knebworth on VHS in high school, but love the Earls Court (especially IMTOD) segment. Disappointed that it did not include Hot Dog and Ten Years Gone on the Knebworth segment, but all in all a great DVD set. Anybody find this to be lacking or pretty pleased? NickZepp
I know there's only so much you can put on a DVD but I wish they could have put more of all the shows. They had almost all of RAH. They could have had an extra DVD to have almost if not all of the other shows. But that's really the only thing I can bitch about it.
charlton
Some of the Seattle 77 show would have been nice and any other 77 show feeds of the big screens.
tyedye
I love it. Especially the 'Clips' on disc

guitarmy
I was disappointed that the music wasn't released in CD form. It was too good not to be. But what would they call it? Led Zeppelin DVD CD? haha
the Octagon
The DVD is great, it's the only way to experience high-quality live Zeppelin from all eras. Hopefully Page has more up his sleeve as far as stuff from 77 or a more complete Eartl's Court show goes.
Gr3ll
My brother bought it and let me have it for a few days. I liked it but never got around to buying my own copy. Regards, Grell
greenman
You can always want more but I'd say that for a 2 DVD set that lenght Page's choices were pretty flawless. The only thing I really missed was a version of NQ from EC although I spose they didnt have either the 18th or the 23rd which were the two "classic" versions from that run for me. zepncrowes
I remember an interview where they tried their best to get Ten Years Gone on there- but there was a problem with the recording of Jonesey's 3-neck. And seeing the Over The Hills from TSRTS I can see why it wasnt included on the DVD- I really think we got the best of what they had to work with. The greedy fan in me wishes there was a 3rd disc of the rest of the shows- even in audio only and slideshow form- but hey I think the DVD was a fantasticly produced piece of work. TypeO
I got it as a Christmas present 2 years back, and I absolutely love it. One of my favorite parts is the final TV gig on french television. It's almost surreal to see a bunch of middle aged men and beehived hairdo women in the audience to see Zeppelin :lolo: It appears to me that Jimmy cuts Dazed and Confused short, you can almost detect a signal to the others, and they skip right past the middle to kinda get it over with. The set was an awesome present for me because i never would have gone out and spent the money on myself like that. I love it.

AlexKx
It's one of the best music d.v.d. releases of all time. The only problem with it is that the camera men left John Paul Jones out WAAY too much. So he is rather missing at times. With that said I think this release is interesting for a couple of other reasons. One being that it was done backwards. Meaning that I believe that this is a compilation of releases yet to come. Of course perhaps visually they may not all be on this quality or have the 5.1 feature or some sort of sound problem but that certainly did not stop "Ten Years Gone" from being played on VH1 Classic here in the U.S. of A. I hope that the music industry will adopt a Blu-Ray Audio format that will allow concert audio recordings to be released with whatever features are available for each release being stereo (2.0), 5.1, new interviews, perhaps old ones that might be releated to the show, and whatever else film related to the show. This is how I believe we will see each of those shows dealt with in the future. THAT is why I find this release to be so interesting in that it is a "best of" that was released before the actual individual products come out in my opinion. Roy_Harper
I love this dvd. I dont know just the RAH part would definatley win my vote as best (single band) live show. My favorite live DVD used to be The Who Live At The Isle of White but the first time I put this DVD on it became my definate favorite. The performances are not only Zep's best in my opinion but most likey the best. Especially Jimmy's solo's. Just amazing! Of course it could have had more like anything could but what it has is good with me.
charlton
I bought it in college, pawned to pay a bill, and just bought it again. I've been watching it for a week straight, just having some good ole' pints and typing on this forum.

The greedy fan in me wishes there was a 3rd disc of the rest of the shows- even in audio only and slideshow form- but hey I think the DVD was a fantasticly produced piece of work. It was actually Jimmy's guitar that wasn't properly recorded. I think Kevin Shirley said he switched amps for TYG and they didn't even have a mic on him. They tried to pick Jimmy's guitar up from different tracks, but to no avail. That said, they could have at least included the soundboard with the disc 2 extras. If it made it to VH1, it definitely could have fit in here.
Sunray782
The best gift for a newbie That's how I got in to Zeppelin. I rented it out of curiosity after seeing a documentary, and I was totally blown away. I didn't want to return it! But I did and I went right out and bought a copy of my own even before I had any of their albums. Best DVD I own and I watch it at least once a week. Kissandra
^ You rented it? From where? The DVD's also how I got into them. I'm pretty sure it took me two days to watch the whole thing, but the day after I finished, I went to some stores and bought all of their albums
