Unless someone here likes the Nats and I forgot, ebk... 😉 Uh, yeah you are right. And the Orioles are my team as well. So I can feel the pain. We beat the Mets so that must have really stung. LOL. I think we scored 1 run to do it. Unreal. And that is the mystery. The pitching is not good, buts its not just the pitching killing us. Its the guys that were hitting huge the last 6 years. i still think their is a mutiny in the Orioles clubhouse. Adam Jones should retire. Machado is playing great though. So the big question is, do they trade him? Or sign him and make a ton of moves? Duquette is on my S list. I can see him and Buck going. Its Bucks last year I believe under contract. Likely will ride off? But who knows. Its not like we have no talent. We do. But the outfield is bad. The infield, they should not have paid and renewed Davis's contract. He is laughing at us. I had more faith in him. He should be ashamed of himself. The guy can play defense. But he cant hit the broad side of a barn. Schoop was hurt, Britton as well, not that it matters as when was he going to make any saves? They have a couple of pitchers I have never heard of. I cannot watch them right now. You watch them King and keep rubbing my nose in it. I see the Dodgers gradually waking up. Atlanta is back in the mix. You just cant keep those Braves down. Those are the other two baseball teams I like King. And both are going farther than your Cardinals. i really love Cardinals. The birds. Not the guys playing baseball with the Cardinals on their shirts. I will still pick the Dodgers to get back to the series. The Cubs are the one team that might prove me wrong or the Braves even maybe? Its nice to see them winning.I doubt the Mets fans here would agree

I believe Houston and Boston are better in the AL and Cleveland is deeper at pitching. I still believe in the Dodgers in the long haul, and the Cubs too. I cannot help but wonder just how good Atlanta is? I mean, the Yankees have not won anything recently either. Atlanta is one damn proud franchise. I picked that game for a reason when I went down to Camden Yards. After my Orioles I like the Braves and Dodgers. That is it. It also seems like the Oakland A's are starting to return to being a respectable team once again. That would be good for the game. I miss the days of Jim Palmer vs Vida Blue
Strider
Half the Halos are going to be on the DL by the All-Star break. Another season of promise soured. If the GM doesn't get his act together Trout will be gone as soon as he can be a free agent.

ebk
Made my annual trip to Nats Park tonight. I had free Diamondclub tickets and free "Mr. Tony" parking. The Diamondclub is lovely, with lots of food stations and a nice bar. All the food and booze was free. My seats were right behind home plate. It didn't rain. Those were all the good things. The game was okay, too...until the end. Ah well.

kingzoso
The Saint Louis Cardinals won Their 10,000 game in the National League last night. That is and will always be a Huge Milestone that very few Baseball Teams could ever hope to accomplish in Our lifetime. I don't care or give an "F", if you Love or Hate the Saint Louis Cardinals, but I do care if you read this and blow this off. A real Baseball Fan would say "Congratulations" to such a Major an historic franchise that is the Most Respected Team in all of Baseball History. Should I do the same for the Yankees who I hate? I really do not have any feeling for the Cardinals one way or another. They are in the NL. I do like the Cubs and the Dodgers and Braves. Braves and Dodgers are my second favorite teams. I guess I'll say congrats. Its probably the only thing you will have to celebrate this year. Not that the Cardinals are having a miserable year like we are but lets face it, they are not going anywhere with this current lineup. (edit) Wait a minute. Did you guys beat Kluber last night? Now that deserves notice
Walter
Congrats to the Cards for putting up the milestone win. Interestingly they were the 6th current NL team to reach that milestone. They also have the 4th highest winning percentage overall. It’s also interesting to look at the years the different teams started playing. Looking forward to hitting Yankee Stadium this Sunday night! Bong-Man
My Tigers are on an 8 game losing streak. It was a matter of time...it's limbo time ! How low can they go ? On 6/17/2018 at 5:21 PM, Anjin-san said: Red Sox?Not bad,... I knew JD Martinez would be the free agent steal of the year. When he joined the Tigers he watched Cabrera repeatedly go to right field, and made comments about how he needed to learn to do that. He has that kind of self-discipline. He already had great patience at the plate, and going to right field was the missing piece that made him a complete hitter and an RBI machine. Dave Dombrowski watched too. A great pick-up and the timing was perfect.

This is post 83 series win bad. Awful. 0-13 vs the West. I see KC is only 2 games ahead of us. Wow have they fucked things up. I knew when Hosmer left they were toast. I am wondering how this happened because its not just the God awful starting pitching. A couple guys have pitched well and got no run support. When Schoop went down it was a killer, not to mention Britton was gone from day one and the lack of a decent outfield hurts. But I do not believe they are this bad on paper. I think there is mutiny in the clubhouse against Showalter. If so, those guys must be escorted out. Machado is the only one that has played up to par. I thought your Tigers would have tanked far sooner. To their credit they hung around. Now it appears the wheels have come off like they have in Baltimore a long time ago. I do not know what they do from here. Obviously major changes are ahead
Zepfan2001
The last time I gave much attention to baseball, enough to know who any of the players were, was in the 1990s. There shouldn't be many players still on from the 90s, if so, they're near the end of their careers.
