Rick as always, your full of shit!

Why don't you be specific with your insults?  Can't do it can you.  You just come on here and toss some insults my way but you do not have the mental capacity to explain yourself or justify any of it.  Sad that the Patsies run is coming to an end and maybe Belecheck has Alzheimers?  After all he was so high on Jackson and had him right there at 31 and passed.

Do me a favor and do not talk to me again.  i am now putting you on the IGNORE FEATURE.

I tell you, Cleveland is going to be a good team

So when someone like Guice or the Lions' 5th round pick, offensive tackle Tyrell Crosby from Oregon, fall unexplainably in the draft, can we assume they failed a drug test during their pre-draft physical ?  After all, Crosby is from Oregon.  When they don't give a medical explanation, the only other possibilities is they're dumb as a rock, or they failed some type of psychological exam.  I'm just speculating that if you can't abstain when you know you're going to be tested, you're probably going to have a tough time passing any random tests given by the league.

Mel Kiper of ESPN gives the Bills an A for their draft.  Josh Allen is the QB, and they pick up a speedy linebacker Edmunds and Phillips a highly regarded D lineman.  Now they must figure out whether to start Allen or McCarron.  A new era for sure  Cleveland has the same decision.  Start their new glory boy Baker Mayfield who everyone pretty much though was going to the Jets, or Tyrod Taylor.  The Jets have Darnold who I thought would go to Cleveland.  The Bills picked the right guy considering the weather in Buffalo.  Miserable.  And this kid has played in it plenty.

And the pick is in.....With the 20th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions select.....Da'ron Payne, DT from Alabama.

I'd trade that 4th pick if I was Cleveland.

Payne went to my High School.
Bong-Man, I hope he has a productive career in Detroit.

I won't be the least surprised if McCarron is the Bill's starter.
Players respect his leadership plus he has a smokin' hot wife.

The Monday Night Football season opener is Jets @ Detroit?!?I

Christ, not even PC will watch that garbage. 😛

I have only just now caught up with all the goings and comings in the NFL.

No Dez. No Witten. It is definitely a different era in Dallas.

Sign that it is a new era in Oakland? The fact that the Raiders didn't rush out and sign Dez the minute he was released. That was their usual 'MO' in recent years. I think their draft was okay.

But I was really impressed with New England. They got loads of players despite their poor draft position and they picked up three more picks in next year's draft! Say what you will, but Kraft and Belichick are cagey mofos.

It's even worse than you think.  It was a last minute schedule change because  of Ed Sheeran playing Ford Field on Saturday night.   There were doubts the field could be converted in time.  Also goes to show you the lengths the NFL will go to spotlight the teams from Gotham.

The Lions have also been scheduled to play Green Bay & Buffalo outside in December.  One of the joys of being a bumble-head fan is knowing how the season will play out before it even starts.

Strider I see Brent Musburger is going to do play by play for your Raiders broadcasts. Plus Tom Flores is going to be replaced after something like 20 years in the booth.

Camps are opening up around the league! Can’t wait for the pads to start poppin!

I love that news. Always been a Brent Musburger fan. But I will always think of Bill King as the Raider play-by-play guy.

DeMarco Murray was good. But he wasn't great and he is not Hall of Fame-worthy.

^ Agreed about DeMarco. Cowboys used him up his last season in Dallas, Philly compensated him well for doing nothing for them (yay) and one good season in Tennessee. He looked slow last season, especially compared to Henry.

I think the Rams are going to be pure hell.  Philly and Atlanta are tough as well as the Saints.  But I believe the Rams are loaded.

I think the Raiders play the Rams in preseason at the Coliseum. I generally ignore preseason games but I might go to this game if I can score a cheap ticket.

You might get one possession of good football.  LOL.  Then tryouts.  Gruden brings hope to the Raiders again.  That division its possible for them to win it right now.  Carr should bounce back this year, should be healthy.  I like their chances.  I am sure the Raider fans are not thrilled with the move to Vegas. But lest face it, if you really love them, its not that much of a drive.

Some guy named Pete Prisco should be taken out to the barn and shot.  I mean, seriously.  The guys said the insults would fly.  Well allow me bitch.  He has the audacity to pick the score of EVERY SINGLE NFL GAME TO BE PLAYED THIS YEAR.   And guess what he has my Buffalo Bills doing?  0-8 before squeaking out the first win vs the Chicago Bears.  He is out of his fucking mind.  His Super Bowl pick?  ARE YOU READY FOR THIS?  Green Bay and Jacksonville.  Never mind the Eagles and Rams and Falcons and Saints.  This guy needs to be taken out to the barn and water boarded.  Get his sorry ass off the network.  Who gave this guy a free reign to post horse shit on a major sports site?  Without a baby sitter?

No way Jose.  Not happening.

In-game betting is going to ruin sports. Oh sure...money will be made. But have you been to a casino? Is that really the atmosphere you want at the ballpark? Soon, families will want to go less and less to the games and the stadiums will just be a bunch of bros and gambling degenerates.

I stopped watching ESPN,listening to sports talk radio, what nonsense,...

I watch the game, usually listen to the radio play by play.Let the best team win,.........

Yep we did! It was a crazy night all the way around, between the Uber ride(s), the fans, and the opportunistic city dwellers around the stadium, it was a night for the memory books!  Yeah, Boston will probably win the east, but the Yanks match up well against the BoSox.

edit: oops thought we were in the mlb thread.

NFL Camps are officially open! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Prisco really gets under my skin.   The prick actually picks the score of every game before he has any clue about how some teams are going to perform with many new players.  For us, it looks like we dodged a bullet.  McCoy is in camp and ready to go  The Bills are only about ten minutes from me practicing.  At St John Fisher college in Pittsford (a suburb of Rochester on the east side).  The Bills and Jets and Browns all have new drafted QB's with high expectations.  The Browns have come out and said that their boy, the number one pick will NOT START OPENING DAY.  So Tyrod will.  Hall of fame game is next week, kicking off pre season.  I guess the Bills hopes all ride on the new QBs?  We have really done a good job of filling some positions.  Especially on defense.  The shortcomings include the position of wide receiver.  We are going to run the ball often I suppose.  But we must be able to throw.  That fucker Matthews, I think he went to the Pats.  The new Yankees of the NFL.  I like our chances in Baltimore week 1.  I hear that Flacco is gone after this season so I am wondering how motivated he is?
