Empress Valley // Garden Tapes box - good quality?

Does anyone out there have the Garden Tapes (the EV box set)? 

Is having all these versions really worth it?

its the cleanest version of the 7/29 soundboard material I've ever heard, and 7/27 sounded pretty good as well.

Yes these are very good!  Glad I bought them.  Some of the best sounding 73 Soundboards.

I have the small box, which contains the 7/28 and 7/29 Soundboards. IMHO I am not quite convinced, I think there are better sounding 73 SBs, but that is a matter of individual taste.

Wendy's version of 7/29 sounds better IMO. It's a pretty shitty sounding board to begin with though so the difference marginal , but I think Wendy's sounds a little warmer and more dynamic than EV. I no longer have EVs but ai this knot sounded better than previous releases like Missing Doll. There are certainly better sounding board tapes from 73. 7/29 is one of the worst.

I go back and forth between 7/28 and Salt Lake as being the best sounding 73 Boards.  Fort Worth is great too but seems a little thin compared to those two.  I’m guessing the Salt Lake board is maybe a higher generation with all the tape hiss.   Any other takers on 7/28, I know it’s all personal opinion.
