I now present to you in this third installment of Guitar Battles, one of the Godfather’s of Metal, Tony Iommi from the legendary Black Sabbath. And in the other corner, the physicdelic man himself, Buck Dharma from the laser eye burning band Blue Öyster Cult. No limits battle, who would win? My favorite Buck solos are Astronomy Flaming Telepaths Then Came the Last Days of May He played so many styles so well and he was quite inventive. tyler19 Posted August 20, 2018 Share Posted August 20, 2018 I go with Dharma as well. He had some really nice solos and loved his tone. Iommi was a one trick pony. Mind you, it was one hell of a trick. Dharma could do more but could not do any one thing near as well as Iommi did his thing. Dharma's the better guitarist but Iommi has been way more influential.
