Well, the heat is over and Autumn suddenly set in today. It was freezing, actually it was 27C but that feels cold after the last couple of weeks.

On the news today it said that the most recent heatwave (which ended yesterday) was a once in every 3000 year event, so it's never happened since colonisation. I'm just glad it's over though.

It's weird today.

Woke up to COLD dark black clouds. Then the sun came out for a bit. Now it is going back and forth between sunny and dark. :(

48 degrees. Next week it is going to get warmer. :cheer:

We have 5 days to show two friends from NC our city and state, next week.

They will be blown away by our mountains, since they've never been out west!

I would say windy as all hell lately, but if it was this windy in hell, the flames would all be extinguished!

Garbage cans and tree branches all over the place. My neighbor's shed got lifted over a 6 foot fence and landed in another yard. I live near the ocean in NY, but wouldn't dare go down to the beach now...
