Another 5-6 inches tonite in Motown. Had to have my crew work some overtime just to move the snow out of the way....we have nowhere to put it. We're supposed to hit 32 for the first time in 5 weeks, and melting snow brings the floods and water main breaks. You should see our roads....pothole city. Actually driving on steel rod in some places. Had my tailgate slammed down by one yesterday. A Focus/Malibu/Accord driver would have lost a tire, a strut, and some teeth.

Clearing up nicely. Mrs CP is out on the Golf course whilst earn a crust. This winter we have seen hardly any frost let alone any snow. Not long before that clock goes forward and we can think about blossom and warm lazy days. :suntan:

A woman was killed today after her carport collapsed on her.

The roof of the carport was weighed down by snow. So sad.

Get yourselves a roof rake or even fill an old sock with ice melt and throw it up on your roof to help melt the snow and ice.

Amazing how heavy snow is. A skier up here was smothered to death when he went into a tree well. :(

Cold, but I like it that way. I am a romantic at heart so extremes in climate kinda turn me on, and even if you don't like the cold, Montreal is a beautiful city. Of course springtime after a hike up Mount Royal is simply breathtaking. St. Joseph's & McGill University...what more can I say.
