What's the weather like where you are?

Recommended Posts

Oh gawd, I could not stand WLOS in Asheville. Darcell Grimes made me puke daily.

I was SOOOOOO happy to return to an actual CHOICE in local news. There you have ONE.

Here, we have at least FIVE local stations.

^ I heard there was a lot of flooding in Polk county. :(

Ok, off the Darcell rant...ugh *shivers at the thought*

Here summer just won't stop. I am looking forward to cooler temps.

75 high today then climbing back up to the high 80's later this week. No rain.

It's only 61 now but feels like 80 in my abode.

Yes Hotplant you are right on that one. NBC and CBS are coming out of the upstate.

Asheville don't have a really big budget for anything. If we don't get enough tourists each year so people can donate and just volunteer things without it hurting them too badly.

Well, you have people closing business's and moving away.

We need our tourists. So if you ever drop in....great.

1.5 Million was just donated to UNCA for free tuition and general funds.

Nice. But unseasonably hot. May hit a record high today.

I'm ready for fall.

In a day or two we'll drop 40 degrees. Snow could even fall at 7,000 feet.

Summer doesn't want to let go.

I'm exaggerating a bit but... :freezing:

Did summer even happen? I think I missed it.

Sunny and warm. Still t-shirt weather. It's supposed to be autumn. The leaves on the trees haven't even begun to turn brown yet, nevermind fall off.

Gettin' better, gettin' better! Definitely cooler this week. Of course now we're approaching fire season, and the humidity's already starting to go down. As long as it doesn't get windy, we'll be okay, but...I hate to be a pessimist, but with all the fires LA has had this year already, I don't think we're going to get away with it. :(

Hi "madison!" So you're from Sacramento? I live in Sacramento and L.A. for a combination 29 years. I also lived off Madison Ave. by Mercy San Juan Hospital. The whole Carmichael, Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks, Rancho Cordova, Orangevale, Foothill Farms, Folsom, North Highlands, Roseville and Antelope areas were all my stomping grounds.

As to what's the weather like where I am? Throughout the whole San Antonio, Texas area, it rained HARD repeatedly all night long non-stop! Have a great day and ROCK ON FOREVER!

41 degrees, rainy. Boise, Idaho rainy= drizzly, not pouring rain. ;)

I'm coping by watching good PBS documentaries and drinking hot coffee, sometimes flipping to NFL. :D

Still cold and dreary. (43 and cloudy)

Today's high was 45. They said on the news today that our normal high is 70 on October 4th. Meh.

It stopped raining hours ago, but it's been dropping a few drops here and there, so it's still wet. It wasn't wet enough to keep me from taking my walk though. ;)
