Strider
Vegas dodged a bullet. https://sports.yahoo.com/nba-bad-beat-there-were-an-overwhelming-number-of-bets-on-clippers-to-win-west-then-they-choked-164544954.html
paul carruthers
Clippers, a million punchlines on that one so I won't bother.... Suddenly--or not so suddenly--I can see the Heat going toe to toe with Lebron in the Finals & winning.(not that I would bet real money on it).... ☺️
paul carruthers
Well., that was almost a competitive game for a quarter and a half I think, before Dwight Howard of all people came in blocking shots, the Lakers creating turnovers & getting to the rack repeatedly. If the Lakers don't sweep I'll be surprised... Edited September 19, 2020 by paul carruthers

Any team can beat any team at any given time. The Lakers are certainly not infallible. Tough two point loss for Denver who are down 2-0. They have the Lakers right where they want them. Denver just loves to rally
paul carruthers
^^ The Clippers ain't walking through that door, Rick. The only letdown will be if the Lakers don't sweep...
Strider
I didn't watch the game. Just saw highlights later on.
LedZeppfan1977
I predict that Denver wins tonight. If not, they absolutely win game 4 and then game 5 and they are going go make some noise. I will be surprised but not shocked if Denver does not win tonight. The Lakers were lucky to win game 2.
LedZeppfan1977
Game 1. Does Miami have to win game 1 to win this series? Or maybe the Laker get overconfident? Nobody saw the Heat coming. They could not beat Milwaukee in the regular season. Then the Clippers coughed up the series vs Denver and messed it all up. Rivers is gone. Looking for a job and I hope he goes to Philly. The Lakers are a two man band and AD is a lazy ass. So will that be enough? I have no idea
Strider
At least it's over and the NBA showed the other leagues how to do it without getting disrupted by coronavirus. Rondo helped Celtics win title #17 in 2008. Rondo helps Lakers win title #17 in 2020.
