And the Green Bays have it. paul carruthers is on a roll. He and redrum tie for the Week 16 win at 12-4.

One more week to go and Bong-Man holds a two-game lead over second place Walter. Four people are within seven games of Bong-Man. Choose wisely.

Well I am going to get this over with.   Oh, congrats Paul.  Anyway, strange week as we do not really know who is going to play their starters?  Houston especially.  I say if they see KC rolling the Chargers, Houston sits their starters.  The coach has said they will play them.  I and Las Vegas do not believe him.  Here are my picks for the final week and not sure if playoffs are coming on here?

Buffalo  (Barklay likely plays for Allen and his last start and best as a pro was vs the Jets when he looked like Johnny Unitas)

Cleveland ( I have no idea why.  Maybe to give Kitchens a good send off)

New Orleans (Ill take the points though)

Green Bay (not sure if they rest Rogers or  not?)

KC (still need this one, just in case NE slips)

Minnesota

Miami (time for their once a year miracle?  What do I have to gain by picking NE.  I have lost the contest.  Ill go out with a bang)

Atlanta

Philadelphia

Dallas

Indy

Pittsburgh (Baltimore will rest starters and Pittsburgh is desperate)

Tennessee

Denver (not even their last game as Oakland can make me take them, or their slim chance.  KC is not losing to the Chargers at home)

Arizona (Rams cant end season fast enough, both of these teams will make this a tough battle for this division next year)

San Fransisco  ( payback for that OT game where Russel Wilson shined, Seattle goes back to Philly)

Junior wins the final week of the season! Congrats Junior! :cheer:

And drum roll please...Bong-Man is the 2019 NFL Pool Champion! Congratulations Bong-Man! :cheer: :cheer: I'll send your prize off in the mail.

If only your Lions could do as well as you. Mr. Consistent, Walter, once again finishes a close second. Everyone who played won at least one week and most everyone improved their numbers from last season.

Thanks everyone for a fun season. Give yourselves a hand and a pat on the back. See you next year. I'm not doing a playoff pool. If someone else wants to handle that, go right ahead.

Without further ado...the final numbers.

I guess it pays to pick against your own team every week like Bongman.  Whatever he is putting in his bong these days is working.  Congrats.  Maybe Patricia gets the Lions going next year.  He should.

I think Mike McCarthy would be a good fit for the Cleveland job.

Congratulations Bong Man! Your 2nd title, I believe. 🎉🍾🎉🏆

I still wish you had your old avatar... 😉

Thank you once again to Strider for putting together and maintaining the (usually) most enjoyable thread of the year!

Once again, Pete Carroll chokes the chicken at the one yard line... :bravo:

Do I get a bronze? :)

Once again, Pete Carroll chokes the chicken at the one yard line.

Craziest effin' game I've ever seen. 😬 I was waiting for Seattle to put a fork in it. How many chances do you need? Delay of game at the one yard line??? I'd like to know who got their ass chewed for missing that. The Niner defense came through and that last tackle brought back memories of 'The Stop' by Dan Bunz in SB 16. What really pissed me off was the out of bounds kickoff by SF followed by a personal foul that gave Seattle that great field position. NEVER give Seattle that kind of break. Cris Collinsworth also gets on my nerves as he's always had it in for the 49ers since losing SB 16. 'Beast Mode' was pretty much a bust. Lynch acts like a total idiot.

GO PHILLY!!

Thank-you everyone.  Not only did I win the pool this year, I also correctly predicted the Lions at 3 wins.  I'm still smiling at the Washington pick.  Not a writer, sportscaster, or talking head in town picked that one.  Still laughing at the Green Bay fans in Ford Field holding signs with her picture...."Long Live Martha Ford !"  A fitting end to yet another embarrassing season for the worst franchise in professional sports.  Meow !

Thank-you as always Strider for all you do.

Well someone can bump this after I respond.  Some people in Cleveland might argue with you over franchise being the worst?  Now I hope you pick the Lions to win more games next year.  They do have some talent and Matt Stafford who I like.  I hope his wife is doing well?  You get the news there so you likely know?  Congrats.  Ill get you back in baseball.
