Boogie Mama Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 Hi Guy's! I dont know if it's just me or if iv'e been living under a rock.. It's been a while since last on here, but i spotted this, sound's superb, does anybody know if it's the reel deal, no pun intended ? Led Zeppelin, USA Live 1969, bootleg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JrsaPb4UJw
zeplz71 Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 Yes, you've been living under a rock. This is one of the most common Zep boots, available for 30+ years. Fillmore West 4/27/69.
chillumpuffer Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 Well it is indeed a film of a reel to reel tape deck. What you are listening to is " As long as I have you" from the famous Fillmore Show from 27th April 1969. Released many times under different names. The Dancing Avocado & Collage to name 2. Apparently Bill Graham recorded it. Great song from a great set. Interestingly, to my ears anyway, if you listen very carefully, I think when Bonzo's drum breaks, you can hear Jimmy strumming a few chords which sound very similar to Stairway or that Spirit song (take your pick). Also unflatteringly, Plant says something like "this is our last show here for a bit" and someone yells out "Good"
Boogie Mama Posted November 13, 2019 Author Posted November 13, 2019 Correct! I will just run away in shame know..Lol Thank's for the info.. Probably not a real reel or even a real hoarder.
