Update: A person very close to Charles and Mary Baldwin mentioned that Charles gave Mary a Bible when she was 21 and he has that Bible. Charles & Mary's family tree is quite comprehensive but there is no sign of a Joe Baldwin (JPJ's father) as a child or grandchild. Apparently Charles was married once before, and though not much is known it is known that her mother's maiden name is Jones -- serendipity at play again!

Here is an authentic and verified photo of Charles Baldwin, January 8, 1868 - August 25, 1935.

Took a trip today to the locations used in the John Paul Jones Fantasy scene from the Song Remains the Same. First is the Windmill that John Paul Jones rides past in the night scene. This is the Nutley Windmill in the Ashdown Forest. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nutley_Windmill). The windmill dates back to the 1500s

That's so awesome man!

Amazing post. Thanks for undertaking and sharing this excellent Zeppelin research. It's sort of a strange feeling to realize that these places actually exist...they really always seemed like something not real, a true "fantasy sequence," after having only seen them in the movie so many times.
