Stevie Barr
I have a bootleg CD on Saka records entitled "Tight But Loose" on the sleeve but "Loose Ends" on the actual CD 🤔 It's the usual mishmash of live stuff of varying quality but there is a track on it that I can't find out any info about anywhere- it is entitled "Trying Too Hard", artist unknown, the only info in the sleeve notes is "Unreleased Immediate session from 1965" so I imagine JP was probably involved as a session player. It sounds a little bit like The Four Seasons doing Rag Doll or something like that and has a very Spectorish "Wall Of Sound" type production. Anyone know of any info on it?

Stevie Barr
Well it's certainly not the latter.

Mr. Snrub
It's a demo from Page's days at Immediate Records, 1965. Jimmy played guitar and produced it but he didn't sing on it. The same song was later recorded by a guy named Russ Loader.

I see the recording was released by Russ Loader on Columbia on Sep 17, 1965, but nothing connecting the song to Jimmy Page. http://www.45cat.com/record/db7696
