Davide
Hi everybody. Which are in your opinion the most important bootleg releases of the last 10 years, in terms of quality of sound and performance? It’s long long time I don’t listen LZ bootlegs and now I’m trying to keep up-to-date with the news (new labels, rediscovered tapes, new soundboard sources, etc.) I’d appreciate your suggestions. Thanks a lot. Davide

Zeppelin played Montreal on April 13 1970 and I have spent years trying to find it. Can you please clear this up for me and check what actual date it is? It would be so very much appreciated. It’s suppose to say Montreux, Switzerland.
Mattius
The two Japanese SBD's 28 & 29th Sept 1971 probably blew me away more than any other releases EVER! Edited March 22, 2020 by Mattius

Miinsane1971
I'd have to throw "Texas Hurricane" into the ring. That Ft. Worth show is one of the best '77 shows I've ever heard, both in quality and performance.

Worth '75 show the following year was an awesome surprise as well since we didn't have any recordings of it before. 2/13/75 Uniondale was a nice surprise as well. For me 3/21/75 Seattle takes the cake though. Been my favourite show for a long time, so it was pretty surreal to finally get the SBD of it. 1998giventofly
The Osaka boards by far. September '71 is my favorite month of Zeppelin's live shows. 929 itself has been my favorite show since I was younger, finally getting most of it as a pristine board tape was one of the most incredible experiences of my life so far. I also love 928, really enjoyed the incredible performance and hearing it as a board tape was beyond my wildest dreams. After those though I'd also have to say Seattle '75. Amazing show and crazy to have the whole thing in such incredible quality.

You're missing a few. Here's a list of all known Zep soundboards, including the ones from 77: http://www.bootledz.com/sbfile.htm

I don't know how I missed it. The Landover 05/28/1977 show I believe is on Black Beauty but it says AUD and SB, is that correct?
SteveZ98
There's a soundboard for the 5/28/77 show. It's most commonly known as the Powhatan Confederacy. There's also an audience recording for the show, so I'm assuming someone filled in the missing parts of the soundboard with the audience source, which is what you're seeing on Black Beauty. This is one of my favorite shows and to hear this new back half (with Communication Breakdown!) is a revelation.
