Thor, dumbass.

Jeez ... do I have to explain everything to people?

Don't call Þorr a dumbass, and it wasn't He. You would have to be on the side of understanding to know.

The day a tornado came directly to this house and stopped for about a minute with the eye encompassing the house was Þorr and Óðinn. That was another very strange experience. I didn't even realize WTF was going on until I went outside. I knew something was up when I walked into my bedroom and saw the curtains standing perpendicular to the wall due to the wind coming through a centimeter wide opening. That was my clue to head down to the basement. I remember thinking very clearly "the Old Boys upstairs are having a great time". I had this incredible feeling of exhilaration, but not the least bit of fear.

When I went outside, it looked like someone had taken a gigantic weed-eater through the neighborhood. It apparently reached the edge of the neighborhood, jumped directly to our house, stood here for a minute, and then jumped a couple blocks up the street and kept mowing down trees for several miles. Mandala X.

My brother got some video of what they thought was something.... which ended up being "bubble lightning"...which was sort of illuminations at night, very strange to see, especially on video. I dont know how common or uncommon it is, but i'd think its more uncommon than seeing the -northern lights from what i know.

Check the dosage on your Xanax. You may be taking too much.

One of my cats (the weird one, not the flatulent one) sometimes stops in his tracks, stares at absolutely nothing in the close distance, crouches down, folds his ears back and then starts to growl real low.. . That behaviour actually makes my hair stand on end...

...which no doubt is the only reason the bastard keeps doing it! <_<:(

When I was a kid, my best friend's family cat died. About a week or two later, his mom was walking though the downstairs hallway and saw him walking along the wall. She wasn't frightened and just watched him for a bit. He walked to where his water bowl used to be and stopped and sat on the floor. She filled up a cup of water for him and put it down. She says he disappeared after a couple seconds of him sipping the water.

Xanax? WTF is that? The only thing I'm on is caffeine. Unfortunately, I have built up a strong resistance to it.

Xanax is similiar to valuum. An anti anxiety medication. Some of these posts are real interesting. One suggestes animals may be able to see things we cannot. Perhaps spirits? The cat story is a bit creepy. I have to go back and read some more of this thread.

Apart from inexplicable things I've seen on acid which couldn't possibly have been lysergic distortions, the only experience I ever had was when I was about 8 or 9, sitting on the thunderbox at my grandparents' house. I was staring idly at the wall, and suddenly a face appeared for a few seconds. It was quite clear, not at all scary (quite benevolent-looking, in fact), and seemed oddly familiar. Then it vanished.

As I grew older, I never forgot this, and it now seems to me that it might have been a vision of an older me. As I recall, it had slighly less hair than I currently have, so I'm wondering whether it might have been an image of how I'll look on the day I die.

One night I woke up, and I realize that I couldn't move, or speak, or cry out for few minutes. I felt a 'presence' of something malevolent or evil like a ghost. I also felt something really heavy on top of me, and I also felt as if someone was choking me really hard.

There were times that I was experiencing every time I try to close my eyes or when I would wake up. It was really frightening that one time I saw like a figure of a man floating up in the air.

After 7 seven years, I have found out that I wasn't experiencing a paranormal activity. I was actually experiencing sleep paralysis a type of paralysis associated with sleep that may occur in healthy persons or may be associated with narcolepsy, cataplexy, and hypnagogic hallucinations. I also found that sleep paralysis causes hallucinations, which I was having when I would see odd things.

Definitely.

I go to Kent State, the famous campus where May 4th happened. Turns out the parking lot the 4 were shot at and killed was the parking lot of my freshman dorm. I had a class at 7:45am, so one morning I was in the bathroom and repeatedly heard a shower curtain moving back and forth. Knowing nobody on my floor was up that early, and it being winter so the windows were not open, I decided to have a look and the far end shower curtain was just moving back and forth. It abruptly stopped when I approached it. This happened a few other times. Another instance was my roommate and I kept hearing a strange tapping noise on our window, Which would only occur between 10:30-11:00pm at night. One night I just said out loud "can you please knock it off?", and the tapping just mysteriously stopped. It never happened after I said that either.

They probably get a kick out of pulling pranks on people!
