jsj
Was that the time he was involved in an inquest for a death at Mill House?

Rock for Kampuchea was organized by George Harrison and took place from December 26th to 29th 1979. Robert Plant was there performing with Rockpile (sang Little Sister), John Bonham (& I believe JPJ was there as well) performing in Paul McCartney's All Star Band for the songs Rockestra Theme, Lucille, & Let it Be. Jimmy was the only member of Zeppelin not in attendance. Edited December 3, 2020 by BobDobbs

The death of Philip Churchill Hale, a 23-year-old photographer and designer who was a friend of Jimmy's, occurred at Plumpton Place on October 25th 1979. Jimmy attended the Wings concert at the Brighton Centre on December 2nd 1979, and Paul & Linda McCartney & Denny Laine stayed the night at Plumpton Place afterward. There could be any number of reasons why Jimmy did not participate in the Concert for Kampuchea.

Mithril46
Perhaps he was dancing with the white lady.. And the White lady is very possessive and controlling. Then again I’m pretty sure Jimmy threw( or someone else) a birthday party for him, yet he never showed up. Perhaps a snowstorm blocked his way. AaAAA, who knows. Fool_In_the_Rain
Also the question begging to be asked is, how is the last big concert of the 1970’s not given a deluxe release? Concert film, CD reissues....I have the LP, but much like when I bought Live At Leeds by The Who as a teenager, I wanted more of it.
