LZforever Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 Back in the late 80s I had a zeppelin cassette that had one song on one side, could have been no quarter. The song was at least 30 minutes long. It had two songs on the other side, can't remember what ones. Would love to know what cassette it was. I havent been able to find it anywhere. Quote
davidh Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 Was it one of the tapes from 'The Song Remains The Same'? There are a number of different versions, but this is one of them: https://www.discogs.com/Led-Zeppelin-The-Soundtrack-From-The-Film-The-Song-Remains-The-Same-Volume-B/release/8131060 Quote
jsj Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 Nope it won’t be from the film as that version is more like 15 minutes long, not 30 or more. For that length it’d have to be from 75 or 77 and probably the latter I’d guess Quote
Strider Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 The only official Led Zeppelin cassette available in the late-1980s that fits this description is certain releases of "The Song Remains the Same" soundtrack which came in two cassettes. Sides 1 and 3 of the original album on one cassette and Sides 2 and 4 on the second cassette. "Dazed and Confused" on one side and "Moby Dick" and "Whole Lotta Love" on the other side. Quote
jsj Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 But he says the No Quarter was 30 minutes long on his tape, so it can’t be the soundtrack version. Unless to him it just felt like 30 minutes long Quote

Unless to him it just felt like 30 minutes long No he does not say that definitively. He is unsure and guesses that it may have been "No Quarter" but he does not really know. Quote
