Hey, what's with the dude from Blue Oyster Cult playing sax?

Lol. They had to stick him behind the keys, so he’d being doing something, too. Otherwise, he’d just be standing there with his 70s porno ‘stash lurking at the crowd until his solo. 😁

No doubt. BTW, I loved that late 70's early 80's rock & new wave stuff before it became lame. The return of sax and layered arrangements was pretty good IMO. Plant, Talking Heads, B-52's, Elvis Costello, the Cars, Human League, ABC etc. was an extension of what Roxy Music had been doing since the early 70's. Roxy Music were the pioneers of that style of music. Great time to be alive.

Agreed. 👍😊 You can hear the Police a la Regatta D’ Blanc in the arrangement / style of this song, too.

It’s obvious to me Robert feels awkward still onstage at this point, without Jimmy onstage weaving around him, he wasn’t sure what to do with himself onstage.  His body language is very uncertain

For me...any awkwardness here is due to the restrictive elements of miming on a  TV show. Something he was not used to.  They all break into smiles when Rob misses his "ohhh" at 1.11.

I do not think at all it has anything to do with Page not being there.  I saw  a few Honeydrippers live shows in 1981 and Plant was as confident as ever.  Plant has never suffered from stage fright...that was more Jimmy's problem.
