bethany.williams
Hi there! I'm the Exhibitions Assistant at Wolverhampton Art Gallery, where we are preparing the major exhibition Black Country Beats. The exhibition will celebrate the rich musical heritage of Wolverhampton and the surrounding area from the 1970s till early 2000s by bringing together a selection of memorabilia, costumes, musical instruments, video and oral histories. We are eager to include the story of Robert Plant, his experiences of music in Wolverhampton, his love of Wolverhampton Wanderers and his continued success and influence as a solo artist within the exhibition. We are additionally interested in exhibiting memorabilia relating to Robert Plant and his incredible career as one of the world’s greatest rock stars. If you have a story or memorabilia you would like to share with us, please get in touch! Email bethany.williams@wolverhampton.gov.uk by 10 December 2021.
