Times are more tough now equates to backing him - that equation does not add up given who he is - and SAYS he is, and what he will do, and SAYS he will do. Just listen to him, and most of the inner cabinet HE appointed.

Why is fascism better for the US? And it's not even debateable that that is what he offers. He outright supports and loves dictators (according to WHAT THE MAN SAYS REPEATEDLY). Says repeatedly out loud maybe the military will be necessary to handle his political opponents like Schiff and Pelosi. HE says this shit out loud and repeatedly. REFUSES to temper when Ingraham, Hannity, or anyone attempts to get him on a more nuanced message if you will. So again, the Fascism Trump offers is the answer to the left?

Like I said, there is rhetoric and there is policy and the policies he enacted while in office were far from fascist.

Liz Cheney is pathetic Never Trumper who got her ass voted out by office by her constituents because of it. Mattis, Kelly and Pence are all swamp creatures to a large degree. Graham's a swap creature, as is Haley. Vance is now in a position to become President within the next four years or to make his own run in 2028, either of which I will support.

Trump's not the answer to what the Left has done to this country, he's the anecdote. The right answer for what they have done is far more brutal. Perhaps we'll cross that bridge if this election too is stolen.

In closing for now I'll leave you with this and you can bank on it...it's NOT too close to call. Kamala is getting crushed at the polls and in the early voting results. Trump's lead has increased every week for a month. He may even flip more than one blue state red as well as take the popular vote. He'll probably fall short of 100 million votes but 85 to 90 million is a real possibility.

You've been living in Japan for who knows how long. I'd say rm2551 has just as much right to comment on American affairs as you or anyone else.

As an American, I can definitely answer the question "Are you better off now than you were four years ago?" in the affirmative.

Nobody I know died from covid this year. I am making more money, paying less in taxes and my tax refunds the past two years were far larger than under Trump. A lot of the bums and tent cities that sprung up during the pandemic have been cleaned up. Not all, mind you, but enough to make a difference. They even got rid of the scum that was around Sunset Sound Studios. I notice prices to some goods and gas are dropping. 

I don't care for many of Kamala's and the Democrats policies or views. But I know they are more committed to adhering to the U.S. Constitution and the checks and balances of the three arms of government than Trump and his maga cult. I have friends in various agencies and I know the shitshow Trump is and will always be. Once a con, always a con. 

I also remember that the three biggest economic collapses in my lifetime happened under Republican presidents: Bush in the late-80s, W. Bush in 2007-08, and Trump 2020.

Hell, all Trump had to do was adequately respond to the Covid situation and he would have probably won re-election in 2020. But his narcissism coupled with his incompetence prevented that. His behavior and actions since then show he hasn't learn anything and therefore, I don't trust him to be able to respond to another similar crisis should it arise.

You are upset about high prices? Illlegal immigration? Fine...I am with you on those points. But voting for Trump is like burning your house down because you don't like the carpet.

He was consistently knocked back or talked out of fascist moves. Can't we just shoot protesters in the leg? for example. His former cabinet officials all say this. Those that didn't go along with it will no longer be there. 100% he will run a retribution Presidency that is completely off the chain including ordering the military to go after those he deems enemies - just like he has consistently said. I'll predict he'll be removed from office as unstable/nuts - or there will be a constitutional crisis / collapse.

Really interesting. Trump does seem to be pulling away in polling, but polling gave Hillary a clear win. Polling is often wrong in a LOT of change or new support is almost never captured as pollsters are only talking to small numbers. We'll see Steve, but I'll stand by my prediction of blue wave.

If Trump wins, NO WAY is it rigged AT ALL.

If Harris wins, NO WAY is it rigged AT ALL.

UNLESS provable fraud is uncovered and prosecuted. Other than that, it's all noise.
